George: Horse manure's not that bad. I don't even mind the word manure. It's newer, which is good, and a ma in front of it. Ma-Newer. When you consider the other choices, manure is actually pretty refreshing.

This episode marks the first appearance of Kenny Bania.
Tracy Kolis (Kelly) previously appeared as Marlene in the second season episode "The Ex-Girlfriend" as Marlene.
When George orders lunch, after his date with Kelly, he orders a bowl of chili. When Kelly brings his order, she brings him a bowl of tomato soup, which George eats without mentioning it is not what he ordered.
